Na sexta feira do dia 8 de janeiro eu entrei de férias. No momento em que eu ia aproveitar meu primeiro dia de gozo com meu filho pequeno e a família, recebi a notícia que impactou todo mundo. Foi muito triste começar o meu primeiro dia de férias tendo que vir aqui na porta da fábrica descobrir que a empresa vai embora do Brasil.
Foi uma decepção saber que preciso refazer planos tendo filhos pequenos e um bebê recém-nascido. É ainda mais complicado em um cenário de pandemia sabendo que vou ser obrigado a ficar fora de casa.

Até agora não foi feita nenhuma promessa para os trabalhadores. O sindicato tomou a frente para nos ajudar com as negociações. Anunciaram que na próxima segunda-feira, dia 18 de janeiro, irão começar a negociação com a Ford e as conversas sobre os desligamentos e o futuro dos trabalhadores.

Você mencionou que acredita que a vida dos que serão demitidos será ainda mais difícil por conta da pandemia da Covid-19. Como a Ford operou e quais foram os cuidados durante a crise sanitária?
JK
Foi uma situação difícil e nova para todos os trabalhadores, mas a Ford nos respaldou durante a pandemia com os EPI [Equipamentos de Proteção Individual] necessários, aplicou o distanciamento social e conseguiu manter uma comunicação boa com os funcionários em relação aos protocolos. Mesmo assim era difícil ouvir os outros de máscara na própria área, todos de longe, mas nos adaptamos com o tempo.
Mesmo com os cuidados, existia um grau de exposição porque a fábrica estava funcionando a todo vapor, operando como qualquer dia. Conseguimos produzir um volume bem alto de quase 800 cabeçotes por dia durante a pandemia, operando com os três turnos da fundição, rodando como num dia normal sem pandemia.

Que impactos você acredita que esses fechamentos vão causar na comunidade local?
JK
Aqui na planta de Taubaté somos 830 funcionários diretos da Ford. A mudança será muito grande para a cidade, mas também para o Vale do Paraíba e para o Brasil inteiro. Falam de 5 mil empregos diretos, mas são muitos mais, tem o tiozinho da padaria, a pizza que você deixa de comer com a família. O cenário muda para todo mundo quando sabemos que estaremos desempregados. É bem complicado pensar nisso.

Você diz que o país inteiro será afetado, o que você acha que é importante para o Brasil refletir com esse fechamento?
JK
O que eu penso não se aplica só na Ford, mas em qualquer empresa do Brasil. Estamos vivendo uma pandemia, mas todo mundo está cuidando do próprio interesse. A Ford está cuidando do seu interesse em sair do país, mas e aí? Ela está cuidando do interesse do pai de família? Ela está cuidando do interesse do comerciante? A empresa não está cuidando de nada disso. Está afetando muita gente.
O avisou de que estava pegando as trouxas e indo embora deixou todo mundo sem saber o que fazer. É bem complicado. Minha filha de dez anos viu a notícia no jornal e chegou chorando pois sabia que eu estaria desempregado.
É uma situação muito difícil porque tínhamos um relacionamento com a empresa, quase casamento. É como se ela dissesse tchau, estou me separando, deixando todo mundo pra trás.
Quero deixar meus sentimentos a todos trabalhadores, porque eu sei que não é fácil. Já vi muita gente chorando. Não precisava ter sido assim, podiam ter conversado, melhor avisado. Não do jeito que ela fez. Ninguém aqui é bandido para viver uma situação dessas. Todos aqui são maduros para entender o que está acontecendo no país.

É fácil para o Bolsonaro falar que sente muito pelos 5 mil empregos, estando no conforto do seu cargo. Eu creio que o governo poderia ter feito muito mais.
Só que ele não está na nossa pele, não está no nosso lugar tendo que pensar em plano médico, tendo que acordar cedo para refazer nossos planos de vida, refazer o currículo para voltar para o mercado de trabalho.
É uma falta de respeito com o trabalhador. Como fica a luta? O companheirismo entre os trabalhadores? Vão ficar muitas sequelas para o trabalhador, físicas e emocionais. As pessoas ficaram na mão. Não basta dar os sentimentos. Não é assim que funciona.

Como você acredita que os trabalhadores podem reagir em frente ao anúncio?

Vamos precisar nos reestruturar e torcer pelo melhor. Participar das conversas com o sindicato e os colegas. Fazer reuniões para tentar reverter essa situação. Se não conseguirmos reverter o fechamento, que pelo menos os trabalhadores de Taubaté, de Camaçari, da Troller e do Brasil inteiro possam ser respaldados.
